Contact
Julie Best-Clark.

Getting in touch can be a useful first step if you are considering psychotherapy or counselling and would like to understand more before deciding what feels right for you.

A SIMPLE FIRST STEP

There is no need to have all the answers.

An enquiry does not commit you to starting therapy. You can keep your first message brief, say a little about what has brought you to consider support and ask practical questions about sessions, remote options or fees.

Before you make an enquiry

What happens when you get in touch?

You can explain what you are looking for and ask about the available ways of working. This may include individual or couples work, remote sessions and the practical information you need before deciding whether an initial conversation may be appropriate.

A first message does not need to contain a full account of your history. You may mention the broad reason for contacting Julie and any practical questions about remote appointments or fees.

Choosing the right format

Individual therapy provides a space to consider your own experiences, relationships, recurring patterns, history, belonging, work, stress, anxiety or other concerns. Couples therapy offers a shared setting for relationship concerns, including relationship breakdown or family issues.

Remote sessions

Remote appointments are offered through Google Meet, WhatsApp or telephone for 50 minutes. You can ask about the options relevant to your circumstances without assuming that a particular time is available.

Important information.

Session options and fees should be confirmed directly. This information is not a diagnosis, medical advice or a promise of availability or outcome. If you have immediate concerns about your safety or health, contact an appropriate emergency, medical or crisis service.
